Concept: Community and Connection through experiential coffee.
The Problem: Logo and brand needed for a new small batch coffee roaster.

The business owner has a vision to connect coffee growers and creators with consumers. I wanted the logo to stand out, and to show connection in an abstract way. In order to avoid cliches and over used coffee items, I focused on the growth of a plant. The logo is an abstract form of the coffee plant, showing berries and leaves connected through the stem. Bright colors, abstract forms, and loose brush and graffiti art is employed in the brand to bring life and movement to the simple logo form.
